Assess your profile
We review your degrees, grades, research experience, publications and professional background to assess your readiness for PhD study and competitive funding. We explain where your profile is strong and what needs improvement before moving ahead.
Shortlist universities in your selected country
Once the assessment is complete, we identify universities in your preferred country that offer PhD study in your subject and research area. We check programme requirements and research fit before adding them to your shortlist.
Identify and narrow the supervisor list
Within those universities, we look for supervisors whose current research matches your interests. We narrow the list by subject, methods, expertise and, where published, supervision or project availability.
Prepare proposals for aligned supervisor batches
We group supervisors with closely related research interests into focused batches. We develop a proposal around each batch’s shared area, adapting it where an individual supervisor or programme requires a closer fit. Then we move to the next research batch.
Prepare your academic CV
We prepare your CV in a PhD application format, presenting your verified education, research, experience, publications and achievements clearly. Your CV and proposal should describe the same academic direction.
Approach supervisors by email
We prepare focused emails and approach the shortlisted supervisors with the relevant proposal and CV. We track replies and follow up appropriately as the search progresses.
Refine the proposal after feedback
When a supervisor responds, we review the feedback with you and refine the research question, methods, scope or proposed contribution as needed. You should understand and be able to explain every part of your proposed research.
Prepare for the interview
We help you explain your background, research idea, methods and motivation. Preparation includes likely questions, discussing the supervisor’s feedback and practising clear answers for the meeting.
Submit the university application
Following supervisor acceptance, we prepare and submit the formal university application with the required documents. Where a university uses a different sequence, or an admission and funding deadline runs together, we follow that programme’s published process.
How we pursue funding with you
We explore the routes that fit your profile. Funding work can run alongside supervisor outreach and admission applications when deadlines require it.
Supervisor-funded projects
A supervisor may have funding for a defined research project and recruit a doctoral researcher. We identify relevant funded vacancies and help you apply for the project and selection process.
University scholarships
We identify relevant doctoral scholarships, studentships, fellowships and assistantships offered by your shortlisted universities, then prepare the required funding application.
Government scholarship schemes
We check government-funded schemes for your nationality, destination and research area, including any nomination requirements and separate national deadlines.
International scholarship programmes
We consider eligible international awards and cross-border funding schemes. Each application is prepared for the programme’s own criteria, documents and deadlines.
External and industry funding
Where suitable schemes exist, we approach relevant foundations, charities, organisations and firms working in your research area about sponsorship or research funding. We assess their published priorities and willingness to support doctoral research.
A positive supervisor reply, an admission offer and a funding award are separate milestones. We check tuition coverage, living support, duration and conditions before describing an opportunity as fully funded.

Timing, funding and service scope
Application timing varies with the programme, supervisor and funding deadline. Competitive PhD searches can involve several rounds of preparation, outreach and applications. The duration of our support and the deliverables for your case are confirmed in your written service agreement.
Our service fees are separate from university tuition, application fees and other third-party charges. Ask for a written breakdown before committing.
Supervisor interest is not an admission offer. Admission does not automatically include funding. Each university and funding body makes its own decision.
